Something You Can do To stop Overdraft Fraud

     Yesterday I wrote about bank overdraft scams and how the banks can easly rip you off with out you realizing it, if your not on to there game. Now we can fight back with just a little thought and of course time.

      After numerous overdraft charges I decided to play the game right bark on them. I sat down and reviewed all my bills and figured out that almost all of them I could pay with cash. It was just going to be a little harder and and more time consuming, but what the heck its sure better than getting caught in the overdraft scam and losing hundreds of dollars at a whack every other week.

We figured we could pay our

House payments [ at the crooked bank] :: local

light bill :: local

Gas Bill :: local

Phone bill :: local

Tax Bill :: Local

cable bill :: local

and all our personal needs all local with cash.

Taking us almost completely out of the banking loop Now there are a few things we need the bank for and thats insurance bills and things that aren’t local but if you want you could uses a money order  for them as well.

It better to pay a few bucks for a money order than get slammed with overdraft charges

 Now only put a small amount in the checking and we take the rest in cash [around a hundred dollars in to the bank] and only use it if we need it. We have stop using our debt cards and guess what, we now have money and the bank is not taking it at there own free will.

So if for some reason you are having trouble with your bank and what to stop their stealing from you just consider this method, it could save you in the long run.
